American Cancer Society Relay for Life

I am so happy to announce that I will be documenting the American Cancer Society Relay for Life event on June 13 & 14. The event will be held at the Scotia-Glenville High School, 1 Tartan Way, Scotia, NY. This event is especially personal to my family and I, after recently losing my father-in-law to mesothelioma. Cancer touches so many lives and this event is a wonderful way to raise awareness and funds for the cause. You can learn more about the event and how you can help by donating or volunteering here.

From the Relay for Life website:

In the fight against cancer, silence is the last thing we need. Relay For Life of Scotia-Glenville is a great place to take action and make noise. The American Cancer Society Relay For Life movement symbolizes hope and our shared goal to end a disease that threatens the lives of so many people we love. If cancer has touched your life, participating in Relay For Life of Scotia-Glenville is a great way to take action and help finish the fight. This is your opportunity to honor cancer survivors, remember those we have lost, and raise funds and awareness to fight back and help end cancer forever.

I am excited and humbled to volunteer my services at this event. Such a fantastic and worthy cause. I look forward to sharing my experience and photos following the event.
